COVID Update
Following the evolving Covid cluster in the City and Eastern Suburbs, Health NSW has now introduced stay at home orders for anyone living or working full time or part time over the last two weeks, within the following local government authorities: City of Sydney, Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick.

The reasons you may leave your home include:
- Shopping for food or other essential goods and services;
- Medical care or compassionate needs;
- Exercise outdoors in groups of 10 or fewer; (Golf is not considered an essential reason)
- Essential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home.
These stay home orders take effect from midnight tonight and will run through to midnight next Friday at this stage.
Unfortunately, members who are subject to the stay at home orders should not attend the club during this period. If you are currently down on a timesheet we ask that you please remove your booking at your earliest convenience.
Also please remember, for members not subject to the stay at home order if you are unwell do not attend the Club. As has always been the case the staff will work to ensure the safety of all members and guests attending the Club
Changes to Golf Operations
Further to the advice sent this afternoon to Members regarding the new restrictions, I confirm there will be the following changes to Golf Operations, effective immediately:
- Visitors and reciprocal Members will not be permitted to play golf until further notice. (A decision on non-Member access to the Clubhouse will be advised shortly).
- Timesheets will be in place now for all golf. (Competitions and Social Play).
The timesheet for this Sunday is now open for bookings. Bookings previously made for golf before 10:30am will stand. The timesheets for all remaining tee times for this Monday and this Tuesday are also open now. Existing bookings for golf for these days will stand. The timesheet for Wednesday will open this evening. Registration for the draw opens at 6pm, with the random draw commencing at 6:30pm. Bookings for each day beyond Wednesday will open using the normal random draw process, 5 days prior.
The Match Committee will continue to monitor these special conditions for golf at Avondale and will make amendments when practicable.
