A Grade:Hamish McGilvray (Handicap 13) Nett 63
B Grade: Paul Heath (15) and Albert Babazogli (14) Nett 67 – will both playoff in the March Medal round
C Grade: Andrea Fontana (25) Nett 68
Bert Cornish Trophy
The Bert Cornish Trophy, which commenced in 2010 is played in conjunction with the February Medal. The trophy is awarded to the best nett score of the day. Congratulations to Hamish McGilvray who recorded a great score of Nett 63 off a handicap of 13.
2020 Veterans Trophy
The 2020 Veterans Trophy was held on Saturday 31 October. After a three way tie between Gary Bower (16), David Veal (18) and Matthew McNamara (26) with very impressive Nett 67’s, a playoff was required to determine the winner. All players competed in the December Medal, with Gary and David recording Nett 71’s, meaning they needed to playoff again. All players use their handicap they played off in the original event.
Congratulations to David Veal who had a fantastic score of Nett 65, playing off a handicap of 18 to secure the 2020 Veterans Trophy. Great golf was played by both competitors on this day, with Gary Bower (16) signing for a Nett 69.
