2021 Interclub Challenge Expressions of Interest

The Interclub Challenge is played annually between 16 Metropolitan clubs in May and June. The format is teams of 8 men playing individual matches off scratch. Handicap limits apply and more information can be found here

Avondale fields a team in this event and members who meet the criteria for selection are invited to express their interest in writing by Monday, 1 March via email to golfops@avondalegolfclub.com.au

Eligibility criteria from the conditions of play are that players must have attained the age of 25 and have a GA handicap of less than 8.0, effective Saturday, 3 April. Members selected must be considered to be good ambassadors for the Club.

The Match Committee will choose a squad of up to 10 players for the season. The round robin matches are scheduled for the following dates:
Sunday, 2 May (at Bonnie Doon, time TBA)
Sunday, 16 May (at Cromer, time TBA)
Sunday, 23 May (at Pymble, time TBA)
Sunday, 30 May (at Avondale, time TBA)

The semi-finals will be on Sunday, 6 June and the final on Sunday, 20 June. Trial and practice matches are also likely to be scheduled from late March.

In expressing your interest in playing you are required to advise those dates which you commit to being available for.
