There will be upgraded requirements from 1st January, 2021 regarding check-in at Avondale. These changes have been mandated by the NSW Government, in order that contact tracing is able to be completed in the most timely manner should it be required at Avondale. Key points are:
- All Members must check-in using the QR Code in the Service NSW App every time they attend the club. This includes attending the club to play golf, use the practice range or enter the clubhouse. Members should check-in immediately on arrival at the club. Check-out on departure is optional, but recommended.
- Even if you have your name on a timesheet for golf, registration using the QR Code is still required.
- Pro shop or bar staff will ask you to demonstrate that you have registered by showing them the confirmation on your phone screen. We appreciate your understanding when this request is made.
- There are instructions throughout the club on how to use the QR Code to register your attendance.
- If you do not have a phone with you or have any issues using the Service NSW App, staff at the bar or in the Pro shop will be able to assist you and enter your details using an iPad should this be required.
As at 29th December, other restrictions regarding activity at Avondale remain unchanged to our previous advice of 26th December. The key points from this previous advice which remain unchanged are:
- Members from the Northern Beaches Local Government Area will not be permitted at the club at this time.
- All visitor access remains suspended until further notice.
- All Temporary Local Rules remain unchanged.

This site provides a full list of locations with an identified COVID risk, together with specific instructions. Members are expected to comply with these instructions.
