Congratulations to Scott Gresham for his albatross on the 9th hole today. This is the 2nd albatross at Avondale in 1 week!
After hitting his drive into the first cut of rough on the right side of the fairway, Scott found himself 223m from the hole and pulled out his trusty 3 wood. Scott then hit the shot of his career, landing the ball just over the fairway bunker and rolling it up nicely to the front hole location.
Congratulations Scott – you certainly saved it for a good day – the November Medal and Annual Medal Playoff.
