Congratulations to Albert Babazogli who recorded an albatross on the 14th hole on Saturday 24 October.
Albert’s playing partner Phil Bush recounted the event:
Playing in the competition on Saturday, Albert was playing the 14th hole and after a great drive he had 213m to the flag. Albert flushed his 3 wood, and it was always going to be close as two members from the group in front waited to see the result. They were not disappointed – the ball rolled up onto the green, curved around to the centre white flag and disappeared into the cup. Shouts of joy were seen from the two observers as confusion on the fairway reigned as to how close it was or if it had gone in.
