Due to the high interest of players qualifying for the Club Championships, some amendments have been made to the upcoming golf schedule.
The qualifying rounds for A Grade, A Reserve, and B Grade will be held on Saturday 12th and 19th of September. The qualifying rounds for C Grade will be held on Saturday 26th September and Saturday 10th October.
The handicap brackets for each grade are as follows (GA Handicap):
A Grade (Championship): up to 6.1
A Reserve: 6.2 – 10.8
B Grade: 10.9 – 18.2
C Grade: 18.3 to 36.4
If your GA handicap is 18.3 or higher at the close of competition on Wednesday 2nd September, you will be playing in the C Grade Championship. For all other grades, your handicap on the first qualifying round on Saturday 12th September will determine what grade you are in. If your handicap moves to 18.3 or higher after the 2nd of September, you will remain in B Grade.
Ties for 16th position in A Grade, A Reserve and B Grade will be determined by an 18 hole playoff on Saturday 3rd October. Ties for 16th position in C Grade will be determined using the GA Countback Procedure.
The draw will be completed by Golf Operations on Thursday 3rd September. Play will be via a two tee start, with a morning and afternoon field from the 1st and 10th tees. All players should expect one early morning and one late tee time. Players should also expect one tee time from the 1st and one from the 10th.
The timesheets for each of these days will open for all remaining times as normal 5 days prior, including for those who had not previously registered for Club Championship qualifying and for Members who wish to play in the optional White Tee Stableford competition.
