It is with regret that we advise Mr Fred Bowman passed away on Thursday 16 April 2020. Mr Bowman was a member of Avondale for more than 44 years.
In 2015, Mr Bowman was awarded the French Legion of Honour Chevalier in recognition of his services during World War 2. This was a most significant honour as it is the highest decoration bestowed in France.
