COVID-19 Update – Clubhouse Operations

In conjunction with the re-introduction of competition play here at the club, we will now be looking to commence a limited food and beverage option to complement the return of competition play.

A takeaway service following the strict social distancing protocols, with a staged roll out will commence this Thursday. From this Thursday a full drinks cart service for the course will be introduced between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm as was the case prior to the shutdown. The drinks cart will be in operation Thursday through Sunday each week. Members please allow the drinks cart operator to collect your items from the drinks cart.

In addition, from this Saturday 25 April a takeaway service will also commence operation from the Clubhouse. Please see below the operating hours of the Clubhouse.

Takeaway beverages, sandwiches, pies, soup etc will be available from the Clubhouse during the times outlined. Also on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings between 7:00am and 10:00am, Bacon & Egg rolls off the BBQ in the portico will be available, with roast rolls and gravy being available from 10:00am in the Clubhouse.

We will continue to monitor the operation and make adjustments where appropriate. I would like to thank members for their recent support of the hamper service which has proved very successful and we have appreciated the excellent feedback received.

The service being introduced is a takeaway service. Normal social distancing protocols will be in place. There will be limitations on the number of people in the clubhouse and staff will be on hand to assist in managing these requirements.  It is essential to remember that this is a takeaway service and that gathering around the Clubhouse is not permitted. Members should either make their way onto to the course or home once they have collected their purchases from the clubhouse.

We hope that this will be a positive step in bringing a further sense of normality back to clubhouse operations.
