Congratulations to the men’s Major Pennant side, who defeated Mona Vale GC today 4.5-2.5. They were only up in two matches after 12 holes, but were able to turn the scores around to finish ahead and close out the season with another win.
The women’s team played away today, against North Ryde on their home grounds. That said, the Avondale team didn’t allow their opponents the chance to capitalise on their home course advantage, defeating them 5-0.
The women’s team will go onto play in the Semi-Finals on Sunday 22nd March against the second place team from Section One of Division Two.
