Update on Golf Operations

Upcoming Hole Closures

  • Monday, 26 July & Tuesday, 27 July – Holes 1 and 8 out, 11A in (17 Hole Course)
  • Wednesday, 28 July – Hole 5 out, 11A in
  • Thursday, 29 July & Friday, 30 July – Hole 17 out, 11A in
  • Saturday, 31 July & Sunday, 1 August – Normal 18 Hole Course (11A out of play)

When Hole 17 is out of play, please ensure you continue to walk up the path to the 17th tee and across to the 18th. Please do not walk back down the 16th fairway.

Hole 17 Course Work
The drainage work on Hole 17 is expected to be completed tomorrow morning (Monday, 26 July). This area is marked as GUR and is a No Play Zone (i.e. compulsory GUR) as marked by white lines. Play from this area is prohibited and free relief must be taken in accordance with Rule 16.f.

Relief is taken by dropping within one club length of the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. Alternatively, players may choose to use the Drop Zone located at the front of the green, as marked by blue paint.

Timesheet Openings
Please note that the following timesheets scheduled to open this weekend, will not be opening:

  • President’s vs. Captain’s Golf & Dinner – scheduled to open on Saturday, 24 July
  • Mother/Son & Father/Daughter Trophies – scheduled to open Sunday, 25 July

The Match Committee will be working to reschedule all events that have been impacted by the current lockdown.

15 Minute Arrival Prior to Tee Off
Members are reminded to please not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes prior to your tee time. This is to ensure everyone’s safety and to avoid any crowding around the golf course and Clubhouse. 

Grace Kim – WAPT Tour
Well done to Grace Kim who finished T7 at the Natchez Classic in Natchez, Mississippi over the weekend. Grace recorded rounds of 70, 67, 71, and 70 to finish at leading amateur at 10 under par. Click here to view the final leaderboard.
