2021 PACK Plate – Expressions of Interest
The PACK Plate is an Interclub competition for male members aged 65 years and over. It is contested between Pennant Hills, Pymble, Avondale, Concord and Killara Golf Clubs. It is played over a 5 week period from 2 February – 5 March, on Tuesday afternoons except for the final match which is a Friday afternoon.
We are seeking to field a squad of 10-12 players with a GA handicap of 15 or below.
Members who meet this criteria and wish to express their interest in the 2020 PACK Plate team are requested to email Hayley McNeill at golfops@avondalegolfclub.com.au advising availability.
The team will once again be managed by Russell Crofts.
In addition to the age and handicap criteria, members are reminded that we apply a “one team” policy for representative teams. Members who have played in another representative team in the same calendar year will not be eligible for selection unless there are exceptional circumstances. Furthermore, as per the Rules of the competition, members who have played a PACK Cup match in 2020 are also ineligible.
Selected Members must also be considered to be good ambassadors for the Club. Expressions of Interest will close on Wednesday 16 December, with the squad being announced shortly thereafter.
