Avondale is a wonderful wedding reception venue set in the beautiful surrounds of the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, located in Pymble, just half an hour from the Sydney CBD. The golf club features beautifully manicured lawns, traditional gardens & a group one golf course which provide the perfect location for your wedding ceremony and a beautiful natural backdrop for your wedding day photos. In fact one of our goals as a club has been to exist in harmony with our natural surrounds and as recognition for this in 2001 the golf club and course were certified as an Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary and remain the only NSW golf course to retain this certification. The aim of the Audubon International Society is to 'conserve and restore natural eco-systems, wildlife and habitat for the benefit of humanity'.

Avondale's clubhouse was built circa 1927 and also has a wonderful bushland outlook. You and your guests will be accommodated in our Clubhouse Ballroom which can seat up to 150 guests and features a unique warm character with stylish intimate interior which also offers an abundance of natural light. In fact, you will be the centre of all of our attention as we are only able to host one reception at a time, ensuring that personal touch. A lovely bridal sitting room is also available for you to relax in during the course of the reception.
