Thank you for your enquiry and interest in having your forthcoming wedding at Avondale Golf Club. We understand the importance of this special day in your life, and look forward to working with you to help make it one of the happiest.

Our perfectly manicured gardens and golf course provide a beautiful setting for photos, Avondale's Clubhouse has been recently renovated and offers an abundance of natural light and a stylish intimate interior, which can accommodate between 40 and 150 guests. A lovely sitting room is available for the Bridal party to relax in during the course of the function. The Clubhouse is situated in a secluded bush land setting with ample off street parking

Our professionalism and attention to detail ensures the success of your Wedding. We will gladly assist with arrangements such as floral decorations, entertainment and cakes.

Each function is treated with attention to detail. The combination of your expectations and the expertise of our staff will create a successful function. The following is general information that may be of assistance to you in preparing for your function.

Table Arrangements

The table arrangements will be determined by the particular atmosphere you wish to create .We are happy to discuss your requirements and suggest an appropriate layout.

Flowers

You can arrange for the florist of your choice to provide flowers or the Club’s florist can provide flowers for tables and large arrangements for the room, at an additional cost.

Entertainment

The Club can arrange a pianist, duo, trio, band or Mobydisc in most styles of music, at an additional cost.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse, including private rooms. Smoking is allowed on the verandahs around the Clubhouse should your guests wish to do so.

Mobile Phones

Use of Mobile phones is not permitted in the Clubhouse or on the course. Mobile phones may be used in the carpark.

Beverage Selection

The Club's wine list is extensive and while it changes frequently, it always includes the popular Club House wines. Our Functions Coordinator will be happy to assist you with the selection of wines. The Club has adopted a "Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy".

Minimum Numbers

Minimum numbers of 40 people are required for a function to be held at Avondale Golf Club. If the number is less than 40, a surcharge shall apply.

Room Hire

The following room hire charges apply:
Lounge area, formal dining room and dance floor - $500.00
Formal dining room and dance floor - $200.00
Formal dining room - $100.00

Public Holiday Surcharge

A surcharge of $100.00 per hour, or part thereof applies on public holidays.
