The magnificent 18 hole Group 1 course (6,110m from the Championship Plates) was crafted in 1926 by Australian designer Eric Apperly, and has been refreshed by Ross Watson and Craig Parry.
Lush greens and couch fairways wind through native Australian bush. Avondale is certified as an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary for outstanding environmental management, and harbours an abundance of birdlife
The picturesque white gabled Clubhouse is heritage listed and provides the perfect venue for functions and events due to its inviting, elegant décor. Its setting within the course offers many wonderful backdrops for photos.
